Objective
Make it easy for people to reflect on past experiences, track thoughts and emotions over time, uncover meaningful insights from their writing history, and build a consistent journaling habit that supports long-term mental well-being.
Solution
Designed and built a robust journaling platform that uses AI-powered analysis to surface emotional and thematic patterns across past entries, helping users reflect and gain meaningful insight over time.
To support consistent use, the product incorporates light gamification such as daily writing goals, streaks, and badges, encouraging habit formation and repeat engagement without distracting from the core reflective experience.
My Role
As co-founder and Head of Product, I led Wondr Journal end to end, owning product strategy, design, development, and growth.
I translated the core vision into product requirements, created high-fidelity wireframes, defined user flows, and shaped the overall UX.
I coordinated a small cross-functional team across design, development, and research, while directly supporting design and development execution.
In parallel, I owned go-to-market and early growth. I built the marketing website and landing pages, created and ran email campaigns, managed Instagram marketing, and tested acquisition channels to drive subscription growth.
I conducted deep research into text analysis, NLP, and AI to power insight generation, and continuously iterated on features based on direct user feedback, surveys, and one-on-one conversations.
