Objective
Create a competitive but welcoming pickleball league that builds community, scales across seasons, and generates recurring revenue through strong organization, clear communication, and a consistent player experience.
Solution
Co-founded and grew a local pickleball league from zero to 200+ players across 7 seasons.
The league combined structured competition with a strong community focus, supported by a custom-built website and automated systems for scheduling, score tracking, and team standings.
Weekly communication, digital score updates, and clear league mechanics helped players stay engaged across seasons, while sponsorships and partnerships supported growth and sustainability.
My Role
As co-founder, I led the league end to end, owning operations, product systems, and growth.
I designed and built the league website, created an automated score and standings system using Webflow and Google Sheets, and ensured league data stayed accurate and up to date throughout each season.
I managed marketing and player acquisition through Instagram ads and weekly email campaigns, drove retention across seasons, and secured sponsorships and partnerships with brands including Proton Paddles, DUPR, d.Hudson, and Arizona Biltmore.
I also created team branding and logos using AI-assisted design tools to give each team a distinct identity.
